“ALWAYS Incredible food, service and value. My wife is Sicilian, so I am always hesitant to venture into a restaurant's red sauce. And we eat out Italian a Lot! The only restaurant red sauces that are worthwhile, (in my opinion), are Bella and The Calderone Club downtown MKE. I BELIEVE Bella's prices/value are crazy reasonable. My fav are the short ribs. The price has gone from $34 to $36 in the Last Ten Years! Most/Many restaurants have raised their prices 25%-50% just since Covid!”

“Absolutely lovely atmosphere and food. We had chicken Picata fork tender and arancini (to die for) and meatballs. Our server was devine!! Worth the half hour drive!”

“Excellent salads, pasta, and cocktails. The steak is great as well. My family has been here many times. Each experience was nice. This evening our server was Brie. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and she gave good recommendations. She was funny as well. It's refreshing when someone does their job well without taking themselves too seriously.”

“We had family in town and chose Lago Su Bella for an early Christmas dinner. From the moment we walked in the door the service was excellent. The Calamari and Bruschetta were both fantastic . Everyone loved their main dish. The grilled pork chop and lasagna were standouts. Everyone agreed to make Lago our new tradition for our early Christmas dinner!”

“We had a 730 reservation. Party of four. We were seated right on time. Enjoyed a drink at the expansive bar before we were seated. Bartenders were quick and efficient. Started with the calamari and warm bread with olive oil balsamic and Parmesan dipping sauce. Both were very good For our meals, we had the red snapper, lasagna, chicken, piccata, and the Ragu special. All were exceptional. Atmosphere is lively, warm, inviting, right on the lake. The dining area, bar, and kitchen are all in one open area. We will be back!”

“Lago Su Bella is A-1 in every way! Attentive wait staff along with a sense of humor, outstanding food and presented well. Chicken Piccata cannot be beat along with the Bruschetta. Nice lakeside dining with a bar as well. Keep up the great work! We are here a few times a year, and our out of town guests loved it as well.”

“Fine dining with friendly service. We enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana and fish of the day, both overly generous portions. We followed with a chocolate gelato and pistachio-crusted cannoli, both delicious, with coffee. Nested at the tip of Lac La Belle, be sure to take a post-prandial stroll around Veterans Memorial Park.”

“We absolutely Loved our entire experience here. The atmosphere the food the service all of it absolutely perfect can’t recommend this place enough. If you are in the area definitely stop by and try this place out. Every dish we had was excellent the scallops, the short rib, eggplant, Parmesan, and the pecorino pasta. The crème brûlée, the tiramisu.”

“A taste of Italy. We went on a Thursday night. It was busy but not hectic. The bartender took good care of us, he even let us benefit from happy hour prices with two minutes to spare. Our table was in the main dining room which is bathed in natural sunlight. The waitress was friendly and efficient. My sea bass and my wife’s spaghetti brought back memories of our recent trip to Italy. We look forward to visiting again.”
